Brilliant Marketing Or Nice Co-Incidence

Yesterday my car didn’t start when my wife went to drive it.

She called the RACQ (the local car club that send out a mechanic) to see if he could get the car started and out the guy came.

The next day the phone rang.

“Hello, it’s Mary here from RACQ CareFlight and we’re doing some fundraising for fuel and equipment,” she said.

Nice!

If it wasn’t a happy co-incidence that the rescue helicopter service sponsored by RACQ rang the day after a very positive contact with RACQ, then it was brilliant marketing (and if it was a happy co-incidence then here’s a new idea for organisations to help their marketing – without a few privacy issues that might crop up).
