As a guy who buys flowers a lot, it’s a fascinating industry that is very competitive – and wedding flowers would be the most competitive of all.
The location of a florist is very important (so get your florist into Google Maps), but for wedding flowers it’s all about the visual and demonstrating your product with happy brides (and then showing testimonials from those same happy brides).
Marketing your business is pretty easy:
- Get in front of your target market when they’re searching for what you sell (come up on a Google search for instance)
- Demonstrate your product (photos, video, wording online)
- Reduce the perceived sense of risk in buying from you (testimonials, guarantees and trust building)
